Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a clan of musicians. While growing up, she listened to lots of classical music and traditional boleros. They also played classic romantic ballads, as well as traditional ranchero. Ana is a lover of Tangos, opera and all forms of dramatic performance. Ana began learning and singing the piano with her mom, she began her more intensive vocal instruction at the age of 16 under the renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and then at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young student and professional. In the years following her relocation to The United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before returning to her new residence in southern California. The singer currently sings the traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. Her love and passion for the arts, music, and performing keep her engaged in many local projects as a performer and teacher. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana finds it a pleasure to have being able to share her passion and passion of the traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to impart a desire for younger generations, to help keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
